Raised by two lay minister-scientists in Midland, Michigan, Joe strives to find meaning in a life of service. Joe is always seeking to best utilize his talents in helping others. Joe graduated from Bethany Theological Seminary in 2010 with a MDiv. Joe previously served as Co-pastor of West Elkton Friends with his wife Leigh. He is a mystic and a dreamer with interests ranging from meditation to science fiction and fantasy to politics. Joe approaches the Bible from a historical critical perspective and finds great insight in historical Jesus scholarship.
